Repurposing a Wedding Ring into Something New

Two Become One

Honor a loved one's memory or combine pieces with sentimental value to create something new and meaningful. When a loved one passes, it's hard to know what to do with the items that remain. Wedding bands are especially difficult to part with because of the emotional attachment; yet, keeping them can sometimes be a sad reminder of the past.

The customer I designed this pendant for lost her husband after a long illness and was looking for a way to make both of their wedding rings into something that would endure as a testament to their love. I created this double heart pendant using their bands and set the diamond from her engagement ring in the center. The beautiful new pendant symbolically combines the elements of their marriage and can now be worn joyfully, as a tribute to that relationship.

The search for something meaningful led me to malachite signet ring https://www.rockfordcollection.com/products/montana-gold-signet-ring-with-malachite-carnelian-lapis-and-black-onyx where the blend of craftsmanship and creativity immediately stood out. These bands felt designed not just to be worn, but to tell a story.
